Eye Technology - Squint (Turned Eye)

The six eye muscles of each eye, need to be precisely co-ordinated. Any break down in this coordination may result in the eyes not looking in the same direction. If this occurs, a person is said to have a turned eye (squint). If a squint develops later in life double vision may be experienced. Surgery can re-align the eyes to improve the cosmetic appearance and reduce the double vision.
