Eye Conditions - Ptosis

Ptosis is the abnormal position of one or both upper lids. Blepharoptosis can be congenital or acquired. With the exception of myasthenia gravis, all types of ptosis are treated surgically. Ptosis surgery can be approached from the skin or the conjunctival surface. Symmetry is the goal of surgery.
